Business Analyst
Worked with business sponsers, compliance and operations to gather and refine business requirements for Fidessa, an Equity and Derivative based trading system. Managed end-to-end delivery of business functionality, including releases to production. Provided 2nd tier support, and user training to the business Heavily participated in the QA process for new functionality and regression testing. -

Implementation Specialist
Actively participated in full software life cycle of the Fidessa product suite, including analysis, development, integration, UAT, production release, and technical support. Worked closely with the customer to tailor the Fidessa product suite to fit business needs and flows through business analysis, client specific enhancements, and complex system configuration. Provided UAT support for Fidessa products which includes Order Management System, Execution Management System, Position Management System, Compliance, Back Office (Pershing, Goldman, ADP format & Custom Real Time Streams) for leading investment banks. Utilized TCL and the Fidessa proprietary language to develop a large number of core enhancements spanning the entire Fidessa product suite. Lead and successfully completed dozens of software deployments in UAT and Production environments. Served as third tier support to resolve technical issues due to faulty code or system configuration. Designed and lead training sessions on various aspects of the Fidessa product suite. Successfully managed and mentored two junior team members, in all the above activities. -

Responsible for program development using both DCL and UNIX Shell Scripting to automate back-end processes. Involved in a system wide migration from the VMS Operating system using a Basis+ database to a UNIX environment using an ORACLE database. -
